Welcome to Norfolk Area Ramblers.

To keep this short, we have twelve groups within the county which includes a long distance walking group, a short and leisurely group, lots of regional groups and Hike Norfolk (who are frankly a law unto themselves). Our list of walks is here, sorry it’s a PDF at the moment. There are also some other documents here, including AGM reports.

We’re not just about leading walks for groups (although we think we do that really well, and we have hundreds every month), we’re also engaged in protecting the paths network. It’s under more threat than many people think, and we’re tireless at making sure paths are kept open. And as a core part of our thinking, we want to welcome people who might not find joining a group the easiest thing to do.

So we’re about walking and all aspects of it. Have a browse around the site, or discover some of our history. And here’s our list of officers and who you’re best to contact about different queries. Here are some questions and answers we’ve received in the past.

We now have an Area WhatsApp group, open to all members and potential members. Please message richard@inter-logic.co.uk or phone/text 07802 270598 if you’d like to join this.
